Other Sailing Events in the Sea of Cortez

Sail Week – April in the Sea of Cortez

Organized by Latitude 38 this is a long standing event in the Sea of Cortez. The start is off Roca Lobos outside the La Paz channel. The first day is a sail to Caleta Partida for a possible lay day, pot luck, volleyball and hiking. A day or two later… more sailing… this time up to Isla San Francisco. Great hiking there as well as the infamous annual cocktail cruise aboard Profligate. The next day or so we sail back to Caleta Partida for the final pot luck. The schedule is very loose as we go when the wind blows.

Loreto Fest proceeds help support the higher education of students from our rural villages and mountain ranches.

Our Bay clean-up has been a proud tradition since the first Loreto Fest.

Plan ahead for a costumed dance.

If desired, membership in the club is a modest 200 pesos and includes a free spaghetti dinner and an incredible breakfast!
